Re:Frame was founded by some of the industry's most sought after wedding filmmakers; Kristen* from Bliss Video Productions, Chris Jones from Mason Jar Films and Julie and Alex Hill from Elysium Productions, just to name a few. Their work is incredible! Anyhow this fine group of people along with other amazingly talented folks started Re:Frame in 2007 to redefine how wedding and event filmmaking should be perceived... As an artistic craft that doesn't get the recognition it deserves. And to help others in the industry refine, define and perfect their craft. In additon, they have also put together a convention of sorts, consisting of workshops and seminars designed to help others learn, grow and get inspired. Unfortunately I missed out on this year's Re:Frame in New Orleans, but I will definitely be in Austin for Re:Frame09. And I'm very much looking forward to meeting everyone and getting as much out of the experience as possible.

The other site I found is WedFACT. Which stands for Wedding Filmmakers Alliance of Creative Talent. WedFACT is an online forum for wedding filmmakers from around the globe to share ideas, tips, and tricks, share work and get inspired to create the most amazing wedding films possible. Not just every Joe Shmoe gets to join and you have to be a wedding videographer to become a member. So Artifact is very proud to be a member and honored to be among such an elite group of people. Not to mention that they're all super cool, supportive and very helpful! I've never been one for online forums... but this one is well... just plain awesome. Yes, I am an addict. So if you're a wedding videographer/filmmaker looking to perfect, learn and grow your craft this is the place to be. Hurry up.. what are you waiting for?
